The Las Vegas Concours d’Elegance is honored to welcome Jay Leno who will also serve as the grand marshal of the Tour d'Elegance. The finale event of the weekend, this extraordinary motorcade will set out for a morning drive along the famous Las Vegas Strip on Sunday, October 30.
The Concours d’Elegance event will feature the world’s most sought-after hypercar manufacturers and models for this sensational weekend, from McLaren's open-rooftop Elva to the Bugatti Divo and the four-seater Koenigsegg Gemera. Positioned amid the exhibition and competition of an exceptional, curated selection of prestigious automobiles, these hypercars are sure to excite even the most educated and experienced fans.
Our Tour d’Elegance will showcase a gorgeous drive on Sunday morning unlike any other, returning to the most famous boulevard in the world, the Las Vegas Strip. Sunday, October 30th, 8:00am to 10:00am.
Celebrating excellence in the automotive industry, the Helene Award is our highest honor and reserved both for the cars selected as “Best of Show” and for individuals who have made a genuine impact on the automotive industry.
In 2022 we will present three honorary Helene Awards at the Concours Awards Ceremony, which takes place during the Opening-Night Gala on Friday, October 28 at XS at Encore.
Ms. Monica Zanetti will be celebrated for her trailblazing work in the automotive industry, notably her high-profile positions at Ferrari and Maserati.
Carroll Shelby will be recognized with a posthumous award for his exceptional career as an American automotive designer, racing driver, and entrepreneur. Shelby is best known for his involvement with the AC Cobra and Mustang for Ford Motor Company, which he modified during the late 1960s and early 2000s. He established Shelby American in 1962 to manufacture and market performance vehicles.
Finally, the Helene Awards will honor the Petersen Automotive Museum, the Los Angeles-based venue that showcases the history of automotive design and offers related educational programs to the public.
The Las Vegas Concours d’Elegance founded The Helene Awards as a tribute to Helene Rother, the first woman to work as an automotive designer for General Motors, with a notable history that dates back to 1943. This worthy honor will be presented each year to deserving innovators in the automotive industry for outstanding achievements in the design, development and future of the automobile.
